X-Scapes is a project that explores the uncharted territories of human consciousness through the lens of dreams, memories, and fantasies. In an era where recording technologies document every moment, Oğuz Emre Bal's work delves into the realms of experience that remain undocumented or are inherently unrecordable. The project divides these intangible realities into three categories: Dreamscapes, Memoscapes, and Imaginescapes. Each category captures a unique aspect of consciousness—Dreamscapes focus on how dreams reshape emotional states and question reality; Memoscapes explore the transformative power of memories in shaping our understanding of self; and Imaginescapes delve into the imaginative constructs that allow us to envision alternate futures.
