Parametric Facade experimentation in a sales office project in Beykonak Turkey. Grasshopper and Rhinoceros is used for experimentaion.
The Beykonak Residences project involved experimenting with parametric facade designs in a sales office building located in Beykonak, Turkey. The goal was to create a unique and visually striking exterior that would appeal to potential buyers of the residential units.
To achieve this, we employed Grasshopper and Rhinoceros software to generate complex geometric patterns and shapes for the facade. This approach allowed us to explore the possibilities of embodied cognition in architectural design, where the building's physical form is influenced by its functional requirements.
The project resulted in a distinctive and eye-catching facade that sets the Beykonak Residences apart from other buildings in the area. The parametric design process enabled us to create a highly customized and responsive exterior that not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the building but also provides a unique selling point for the residential units.
