The Sofa as an Object
The sofa is perhaps one of the pieces of furniture we interact with most in the spaces we inhabit. Departing from conventional sofa designs defined by horizontal, straight, and rigid geometries, this design explores a more vertical and inclined configuration.
When not in use, its distinctive form transforms the sofa into a compact sculptural object, combining aesthetic expression with functional efficiency. The design therefore considers the sofa not only as a piece of furniture, but also as an adaptable spatial element that changes its character according to use.
