Solar Contacts visualizes a social network as a solar system: importance sets the ring distance, recency sets the orbital position. Contacts drift outward as contact lapses — relationship decay becomes visible before it becomes loss. A spatial answer to a temporal problem, conceptually adjacent to Specularism's question of how relationships and identity are mediated.
