What is an AI token?
Tokens are the unit AI models read and write in — roughly ¾ of a word. When you paste a job description, the AI reads it plus a compact index of your entire archive, then writes its selection and reasoning. One tailored analysis costs about 6–8k tokens, so the Studio quota covers 60+ applications a month. Heavier future features (gap analysis, AI Match) will meter against the same budget.
What happens when my trial ends?
Nothing is deleted — ever. Your account moves to Archive: everything you created stays live and shareable, you just can't add beyond the free limits or run AI analyses past the free quota until you upgrade. Tailored links you already shared keep working, and you keep the rule-based instant matcher unlimited and free.
Why usage-based for Practice?
Teams and studios run the AI at a different scale — and as the latest frontier models land on the platform, raw capability becomes the cost driver. Practice meters exactly what you use, per million tokens, with the model tier of your choice. You only pay for intelligence you actually consume.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are monthly with no commitment — cancel and you simply return to Archive at the end of the period, with your full archive intact. Your public portfolio and every link you control remain yours.
